House prices in Romania are taking a ‘surprising’ path, claims one company …

A spokesperson for Amberlamb, observed: “Property values in Romania are being pushed up because houses are in high demand. However, the current supply of available properties is fairly restricted, which has inflated the prices of those which are already on the market.

“We are surprised at the trend of upwards growth, as much of Europe is currently in the grip of the international credit crunch and mortgage crisis. If you read all the news about the nation's property market this would seek to contradict negativity in any form."
