Description of Quebec
Canada's government may have made concerted efforts to put something of a cap on the country's explosive property market, but so far it seems nothing has had much of an impact. For the most part, average property prices across the country were again up as of January 2015, though in the Quebec Region things were rather more flat than elsewhere. As is often the case, strong property values are doing little to help average rent yields for buy-to-let investors, who for the most part should be setting their sights on an average of 5 per cent or so. Buy-to-sell opportunities in Quebec aren't quite as strong as in other Canadian regions, but are there to be found with enough digging.
