UK Property Web

National site for private landlords and tenants. Not the greatest site or easiest to search but has plenty of property and no estate agents.

Property Free Ads

Property portal offering advertisements for people looking to rent houses and flats throughout the UK. A fair few listings can be found, sorted by type, although the majority of the information is relatively basic but you should be able to find the main contact details.

Spicer McColl

Very polished site which provides a full lettings service. However, again the emphasis is on sales and there is no rental property to view. Plenty of news and features.

Homes2rent

Basic rental property search site, with around 50 homes to rent around the country. Information isn't too bad when you can find a property, with maps, a picture and and availability for most homes.

A1 Council Exchange

Exchange your council property or housing association home for the princely sum of œ1. Provide them with details of your own home, then choose your area and property type.
