A stunning beach that is host to some of the city's most famous landmarks, Jumeirah Beach is blessed with clear waters and soft sand, making it extremely popular with tourists.

Beach Location

Jumeirah Beach is on the Arabian Gulf, 25 minutes drive from Dubai city centre.

Jumeirah is the most popular beach in Dubai and well known for having two of the city's famous landmarks, the Burj Al Arab - one of the tallest hotels in the world - and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, situated on it.

Jumeirah Beach is blessed with clear turquoise waters and soft white sand. The beach is home to a selection of private clubs and hotels.

The beach is popular with surfers, particularly beginners due to its small waves. For the more experienced surfer, winter time is best when the waves become a little more challenging.

Although very popular, the beach has a relaxed and calm atmosphere and is perfect for soaking up the sun or swimming. Jumeirah is considered very safe and ideal for families with children due to its shallow waters. There are also lifesavers on duty throughout the day and a number of barbeque facilities.

With temperatures soaring to 50°C in the summer and the winters warm, the beach is frequented by many Europeans who use the area as the perfect winter break.

The 34-storey Royal Oceanic, which occupies one of the most attractive spots in Dubai Marina, has a one bedroom apartment on the eighth floor available for purchase.
