Hi Pat , I'm glad to hear that you have had a good experience, but you miss a few key points. I would have welcomed the opportunity to call or e-mail IPF to discuss the situation and indeed have done so on numerous occasions, it has been the lack of response to that communication that had caused my frustration. Additionally, do you not think that it is not the agent's responsibility to keep me informed of the situation, especially where there are problems? I have no issue with risk and have invested in a number of other properties (with other parties I hasten to add), so not a concept that I am ill at ease with. I am also of the mindset that expertise in a given field is well worth paying for. HOWEVER, with that financial commitment goes the responsibility of the agent of supporting me (the client) through the process and delivering on the end product. Your final assertion that my purchase of a Superior Apartment will provide a good return, could not be further from the truth. After 18 months and a considerable amount of aggravation (none of which has been bourne by the agent), I have barely recovered my original outlay and have yet to pay the additional fees incurred from my solicitor in sorting the whole situation out. You are entitled to your views and welcome to add them, however the comments posted here as a reflection of other individual's opinions and experience are equally valid. To discount them as unrepresentative is unreasonable.
