How to get direction-am into Real E...

I am looking for some help and guidance to learn about Real Estate Investing. I need something that will walk me step by step through investing in Real Estate. I have read a few books and attended a few seminars on the matter but they are not what I am looking for. I am specifically looking for a product or a trainer that will tell me my options on obtaining the money to do deals or even if have to put money down at all, etc.

I have been I this business for a few years and suggest you start right here, on this site, I started by reading the information listed on the left about real estate investing. It will take you hours to read them but it’s worth every second!

If you are really looking for a tutorial I suggest you contact this trainer by the name of Charrissa Cawley (Not sure about the spelling of her name?) I think her site is http://www.reiconferences.com . I bought the building wealth system off that site when I was looking to get started and did my first deal within 2 months. I have referred several friends of mine to this site since. It’s one of the only site where I have been able to find “REAL “ information instead of just fluff…

I can recommend a good book by Carlton Johnson. He also does a free 5 part property course which is excellent

Research more, and more research! There are quite a few good resources on the net, do a google search for property forums for example. Inside Track specialise in property investment education, particularly buy-to-let - We produce a free newsletter with hints and tips on the current market, and we also hold regular workshops across the country - These are free to attend and there's no obligation whatsoever to take anything further. They serve as a general overview of the industry and offer all sorts of useful nuggets of info - best of all is the opportunity to chat to experienced investors who have already made a success from property, you can't beat one-to-ones for those little gems of knowledge and the real lowdown on the current market. You mentioned you have been to some already, but it can't do any harm to try ours ;) Best of luck

Hi Lucas,

The Money Centre offer a pretty good service, and you don't have to pay anything until a mortgage is complete - i.e. you can pick thier brains for advice & infor on buy to let mortgages - yeilds etc and you're then free to go elsewhere... so nothing to loose

worth a shot

Best advice is to buy several new flats (sorry, apartments) because they are bound to increase in value...

and because they are so charitable the builders will even give you a 5% discount on the asking price...

Or that's what the developers will tell you...

And if you believe them, well....you'll believe anything.
