Medieval hamlet

We are a small property developer whose aim it is to help the economies of small Italian inland (not seaside) villages/towns that have all the requisites to attract holidaymakers/international clientele. Italians traditionally vacation either at the seasinde or in the mountains, hence many exquisite, charming villages and country-side areas get overlooked by locals. Many of these villages, especially in the south are suffering from the economic recession, and tourism and the development of holiday homes would generate innumberable benefits. We are currently restructuring a very pretty medieval town and selling apartments at prices starting from 20,000 euros JUST in the promotional, pre-marketing phase (fully restructured, basic furnishing, ready for use.) Prices will obviously go up a bit once real estate brokers are involved, when the project launches. Our idea is this: the intermediaries, the commissions, the fees etc are minimized to create a win-win situation, we win (we earn the right amount by not charging ridiculous commissions), the local town wins (by having a vibrant economy and having many of their gastronomical traditions and historical and architectural heritage preserved,) and the homebuyer wins by buying a beautiful place in a stuning medieval hamlet in sunny beuatiful Italy at a very attractive price. We wanted to get thoughts/ideas/ suggestions/constructive cirticism on this project from potential and current Italian homeonwners. We would like to be in touch just with private individuals, not agents/comanies. If you email me on paolayorda@gmail.com I can send you photos and a presentation for further indepth study. Regards to all, Paola
