Moving with children (in reply to Guest)

It is difficult to know what to do in these circumstances. As we all know, all children are different and have their own way of coping with any given cirumstance. The most important thing you can do is be supportive. Support can take a variety of forms, but what you need emphasise to your daughter is that no matter where you move to, you will still be there. You will still be around whatever else changes. We are not really qualified to give you any specific advice. However, here are some other links to sites that may have authors better qualified to deal with your situation: http://www.parenthoodweb.com/ http://www.abcparenting.com/ http://www.childcare-guide.com/ http://www.interactiveparent.com/ There are also some books available through Amazon, which may or may not be of help - I have not read them myself: The one which looks most suitable is: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/081840583X/themovechannel/I hope that this is of use, and good luck.
