Please help me before I give up!!!

Hey everyone, I am not really new to the idea of Affiliate Marketing but I have yet to make 1 Dollar. My latest venture involved registering a domain name and redirecting the domain name to my affiliate link. advertising of course, is my biggest problem. I have advertised all over the web. Some free, some paid for. I am seriously thinking of rolling the dice and spending a heap of money on a radio commercial or full page ad in a newspaper or magazine. Anyone think that’s a good Idea?? Or got any new ideas for a clickbank wannabe like myself?? ...Thanks!

Yes we should not quit just because one project is not making money YET. We should always review back as to why we are not producing the necessary results if we have put in sufficient efforts. Perhaps we are doing it the wrong way or we did not research well but whatever the reasons may be, do not give up. Discover via your interests, your passion, your job and start with a niche you love and you cannot go wrong. Most affiliate marketers do not make money. You are competing against some very clever people. Are you tracking your competitors Adwords ads to find out which are the ones that get the clicks? There is software that helps you do this. Are you tracking which of the keywords you are using are profitable? Many keywords may get you clicks but not affiliate sales so they are just a cost to you. The expert affiliate marketers use software to do this too.
If you are to compete successfully you need to use the tools and techniques the top marketers use. It's just not as easy as everyone says.
Otherwise create and sell your own infoproduct or set up some Adsense sites.

have you tried affiliates4u forum??? brilliant place to make new contacts/business highly recommend

as for spending your money, i would say personally it depends on what your trying to market. dont forget there is free places to advertise, facebook is also a very (suprisingly) good place to advertise, i have had a great response on there with regards to marketing my company via a number of groups or create your own.
