To the Administrator

I have been trying to hide my e-mail details, by editing my profile, but it is not letting me!
What do you suggest I do? I do not want my e-mail details shown in my profile, as I am receiving unwanted spam.

Please help me do something to change this!

Can you give me some examples of the spam you are receiving.

Your email address is hidden, an user must contact you via the email form.

Please let me know ASAP.

Regardless of the e-mails I'm receiving, I would like to know why I can't edit my profile.

On viewing my profile, I can clearly see that my e-mail address is not hidden, and even something as trivial as changing my signature is just resulting in error reports, I would like an administrator to tell me why this is!
