hi there, i'm currently looking for shared ownership schemes in my area ( Maidenhead, Berks) I'm aware of dozens of developments but having contacted the council they have told me that there are no shared ownership schemes in the area.
I was always under the impression that developers had to build a certain amount of affordable housing within and new developments. Does anyone know of or know where i can find the rules and reg's on this subject?
I'm determined not to be kicked out of my home town by greedy property developers!
any information would be helpful!
