Buyers in a rush snap up £3.2 million of new homes in Scotland

CALA Homes is saying "thanks a million" three times over to homebuyers who have purchased new property at The Campus, Aberdeen. The housebuilder has sold homes valued at £3.2 million in only six weeks at the new development. Confident buyers have already signed up for £2.5 million of the total sales as off-plan purchases where the footings are not yet laid, while all the mews houses on the development have sold out.

Now, CALA Homes is hosting another incentive weekend from 11.00am to 5.30pm on Saturday 20th August and Sunday 21st August, with sales staff and a financial adviser on hand to help with show home viewings and mortgage queries. With shared equity and part exchange schemes on offer, both first-time buyers and existing homeowners have a reason to attend to discuss their specific situation with the friendly, expert team.

CALA Homes is offering incentives on homes in Alexander Building and Shand Building at Scholars Gate, where prices start from £205,000. The Campus is a community development with a mix of family homes, mews houses, townhouses and apartments with a village feel. Two- and three-bedroom apartments are available – many with more than 1,000 sq ft of floor space.

Mike Naysmith, CALA Homes regional director, said: "It is extremely encouraging that we have sold £3.2 million worth of homes, but to sell £2.5 million off plan with no foundations even laid yet suggests that buyers' confidence in property as a long-term investment is beginning to return whilst CALA's offering remains in tune with their needs and expectations. Our exclusive range of mews style homes were only released last month and already they have sold out. This month has also seen a range of townhouses introduced, further enhancing the mix available at The Campus."
