The building, which is designed by Danish firm BIG, will be located in the heart of Billund, Denmark. The structure, which resembles a stack of giant LEGO bricks, will span 7,600 square metres and reach a height of 30 metres – making it the biggest LEGO House in the world.
The centre will combine a cafe, rooftop gardens, a LEGO store and a 1,900 square-metre public square alongside a series of exhibitions about the history and future of LEGO.
