With the UK referendum on EU membership taking place in under a month’s time, healthcare is a concern that will be on many voters’ minds. For expats, a vote for a Brexit on 23rd June could mean Britain having to renegotiate its healthcare arrangements with European countries. It could also affect the NHS back on British soil too, with recent government figures suggesting that it might result in a loss to public services of £360 billion year.
“Leave” campaigners, meanwhile, argue that the NHS will be better off outside the EU.
