Kuwait fund pounces on Manhattan’s luxury apartment market

The investment arm of Kuwait's social-security fund has been investing in luxury apartment buildings in Manhattan's Noho neighbourhood this month according to a report out this week from Reuters.

The Wafra Investment Advisory Group completed the purchase of 2 Cooper Square, a 144-unit New York apartment block last week for an undisclosed sum.

The building includes a rooftop swimming pool, a video-game centre and a private movie-screening room.
