UK seaside town house prices revealed

People who are looking to invest in a seaside property but are interested in staying a bit closer to home may want to look into what Scotland has to offer.

A review of seaside towns by the Bank of Scotland has found the most affordable, and most expensive, towns near the coast in which to buy a house.

For those looking for a bargain property investment, Buckhaven on the Fife coast could offer plenty of opportunities. According to the review, house prices in the town are on average 2.26 times that of local average annual earnings.

Last year, the average price of a house in Buckhaven was £64,855, making it the least expensive seaside town for buying a property.
