New ‘lease’ of life for France property

UK investor interest in French leaseback property has surged recently, claims VEF…

The company claims that one of the reasons behind this renewed interest is that ‘more investors seem to have digested the gloomy economical context’ and are ready to invest again.

A spokesperson for VEF explained: ‘Profits are possible with or without a home credit crunch and one still needs to think about their pension regardless of the current context.

“The French property market is still outperforming many others, including the UK ’s in terms of property appreciation, and it remains safe and predictable, which fits in with most investors’ requirements.

”Investors are usually seeking a safe and hassle-free investment for medium to long-term periods, possibly cost-neutral, and leaseback is arguably the best suited solution for this.
