Overseas investors are increasingly considering opportunities in Thailand.

That is according to Homes Overseas magazine, which claims that the Asian country is appealing to both holidaymakers and foreign investors.

Rupert Bates, property expert at Homes Overseas commented: "Thailand is a beautiful and thrilling location for overseas property investors, and houses are currently available all over the country.

"Since it has become a highly popular tourist destination, many new properties are being built in its main hotspots of activity. Thailand also offers attractions such as a good climate and awe-inspiring beauty.

Mr Bates added: “Property values are generally affordable while the build quality of houses is up to European standards. Long-haul destinations are becoming more and more popular with property investors, and South-east Asia is proving to be one of the main non-European hotspots for Euro investors".
