Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan plans to sell his three-bedroom Fulham bachelor pad after spending £4 million of his estimated £15 million fortune buying a soigné five-bedroom Grade II-listed house in Kensington from his girlfriend's dad...

Morgan bought the house, in exclusive Edwardes Square, from former Tory MP George Walden, father of Morgan's journalist squeeze Celia Walden.

The ex-Mirror editor's penthouse pad at The Regent on the River, with Chelsea Harbour and Battersea Heliport views, could fetch more than £1 million. The Sussex-born roisterer moved there five years ago after the break-up of his marriage to Marion, with whom he had three sons: Spencer, Stanley and Bertie.

Though the David Frost wannabe is occasionally spied jogging along the Fulham towpath, he currently spends five months of the year recording the American version of the talent-spotting show in Los Angeles, where he stays at the ultra-starry Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
