Spain is a perennial favourite with second home owners and investors, especially from Britain and Germany. The Institution of International Tourism in Spain shows that tourism in the nation has increased since last year, which is good news for those looking to rent out their properties.
The Economist reported
that Spain has enjoyed the fastest
growth in property prices anywhere in the world in the last 20 years.
A firm favourite with holiday makers, especially those from
the UK and Germany, Spain attracted 7.7 million holiday
makers in August alone. Most visitors came from France
and the UK,
while the number of German visitors increased by 20 per cent compared to 2007.
Around 25 per cent of British people aim to retire abroad and Spain is the most popular destination, owing to climate, cheap flights and proximity to the UK

with a total of 41.5 million visitors since January this year, and they have to
