The Asnière-la-Giraud development is a 4-star tourist resort offering 13 cottages. This development were part of the former distillery and have all being completely renovated and restored over the past 5 years to offer a very high quality standard and preserve the historical architecture heritage.

Asnière-la-Giraud is renowned for its fine alcohols – Pineau and Cognac – it started producing in the 18th century until the early sixties. In 2002, the area was transformed into a top of the range holiday tourist resort.

The 13 cottages were created under architect’s control, in the annexes of this beautiful 18th century former Cognac Domain, on a 5.5 hectares park. The cottages come in 13 different types which are: L’Alambic, Les Cagouilles, Le Cognac, Les Cyprès, La Distillerie, Le Four à Pain, La Sève, Le Tonneau, Les Vignes, Le Bouchon, Le Pineau, L’Ecurie and Le Dépôt.

Asnières-la-Giraud is a commune in the Charente-Maritime department and the region of Poitou-Charentes. Asnières-la-Giraud is known for its farmers and vintners. It is 5 minutes away from the town of Saint-Jean-d'Angély.
