It is a very beautiful Italian made house (was an Italian consulate during the war). It is situated in the center of the town Of Rhodes, in a traditional neighbourhood surrounded of pedestrians full of flowers and tradional small hotels. It is only 3 minutes away by foot from the beach and 10 minutes away from mandraki the marina the casino the banks, shops and 15 min from the international airport of Rhodes. The house has two storeys. The flat floor is completely separated from the upper one by a mid wall, there are two different entrances. They can be reunited easily without causing damages if the person who byes it wants it so.Its surface is 110 sq.m in the basement, 110 sq.m. Upstairs and another 70 sq.m. Of attic plus a beautiful terrace with view of 30 sq.m. On top. Actually one gets two houses for the price of one. (Witch I have transformed to a sauna room and can be undone if one prefers to have the small yard) and a big space where the can put there kitchen and living room, a W.C. and another small room for bureau or extra ranging. The house has solar water heater and the central heating installation is done. The front of the house in 9.5 meters large and the side is 11 meters long. There is not a parking in front of the house as it is on a pedestrian street but the main road is only 20 meters away and there you can park your car. Also you must know that for residents of this area there is a special permit given to them by the municipality witch permits them to park without paying not only around here but almost anywhere in Rhodes town. Yes there is an outside patio of about 15 sq.m. Witch is in the back of the house and witch I have covered as I have used it as a sauna room. It is very easy to uncover it again and put some flowers table chairs etc... It is a very quiet neighbourhood although big life is only 2 squares away. No cars no motorcycles just bird singing and some times the ring of the churches bell. It looks as a village in the town. Some time in the winter when the weather is windy you can ever hear the sea. You must be aware that the house is situated in the traditional part of the city. All the area is protected as monument by UNESCO. It is very rare to find a house to buy in that part of Rhodes. You will not regret it.
