Emerald Monkey embraces a traditional community design found in similar near equator island communities across the globe - from Sri Lanka to Trinidad, from French Polynesia to Bali. These rich island traditions have evolved over hundreds of years, and are perfectly adapted to life on a tropical island.

The homes are actually built in Bali by native craftsmen, disassembled and shipped to the island, then re-erected and fully furnished with imported antiques and custom pieces. The entire project is solar powered.

The development is offered in two phases: The initial phase includes 76 free standing residences with 1 or 2 bedrooms, ranging from 600 square foot to approximately 1400 square foot of interior space with surrounding terraces, water view decks and individual pools.

The second phase adds 130 dwellings, bringing the total number of residences to 206.
