Zakynthos, the most southerly of the Ionian Islands, is also one of the most beautiful with majestic coastal and mountain scenery running the length of the island. Zakynthos town, the island capital, has been careful to ensure that its magnificent Venetian buildings in its main square and pedestrianised shopping streets, have been restored and preserved.  Its modern new airport terminal means that holidaymakers no longer have to endure the frustrating waits of previous years.  The island has  also become more upmarket and this has helped to attract tourists from a much wider range of countries, especially Russia.  In fact 2011 is the year when Zakynthos seems to have "arrived" and is now being spoken of as the new Mykonos.
 
The apartment complex is situated only a five minute walk from a number of sandy beaches with safe bathing for children.  It is located almost on the boundary of two small family resorts with easy access to shops, bars and a wide range of restaurants and tavernas, as well as a new medical centre.

The gardens surrounding the single storey apartment building are well maintained and are planted with a variety of flowering shrubs and plants, which ensure that it is well hidden from the road.  The swimming pool is to the rear of the complex and again enjoys complete privacy.

The complex consists of five one bedroom apartments and a two bedroom apartment which is occupied by the present owners. The apartments are in good condition and were completely renovated in 2007.

The owners accommodation is identical except that it has two double bedrooms and also a wood burning stove.
