The property itself requires complete renovation (including a new roof) and is ideal for someone who wants a traditional character house ('maison de village') renovated to their own specification.  The house is connected to mains water and drainage.  There is a downstairs toilet and a sink on the first floor, but no kitchen or bathroom.  The house has mains electricity, although the wiring is not up to modern standards. 

Once renovated, however, the house would make a beautiful home.  It is in a very nice location at the edge of the village and is private and not overlooked to the front.  Internally it is particularly bright.  It is relatively large - total room space is approximately 135m² overall, plus a terrace of 21m² - and the room layout is simple and spacious.

First floor room space is approximately 38m², comprising a large reception room (c28m²) leading onto a room for a kitchen (c10m²).  There is a door onto a large sunny terrace (c21m²) with views of the countryside.

Preliminary (but specific) renovation plans were drawn up a few years ago with a local construction company and english-speaking project manager.  Although a bit dated, these could be made available to interested purchasers looking for help with the renovation works.
