Amenities & Services
The apartment was completely renovated in September 2019 and is located in Wülfrath in a quiet cul-de-sac street. The city centre can be reached within a few minutes. In the very well-kept house, which was built in 1968, only owners live. The apartment on the ground floor has about 64 m² living space, 3 rooms including kitchen, bathroom and storeroom. Due to insulation works 2020 at the lower part of the house (the rest of the house is already completely insulated) the terrace is lowered to the height of the house, so that there would be the possibility to build a breakthrough from the apartment directly to the terrace and the existing community garden. The harmonious combination of urban infrastructure with a natural idyll makes Wülfrath, with its almost 22,000 inhabitants, a charming Lower Berg town worth living in. Wülfrath is centrally located between Düsseldorf, Wuppertal and Essen. The Rhine railway and Ruhr area can be reached within 30 minutes. The historic old town with its old half-timbered houses and attractive pedestrian zone invites you to stroll. Residential areas close to the city centre as well as surrounding districts in quiet and child-friendly surroundings enable pleasant living with good connections to public transport. Shops for daily needs as well as schools and kindergartens are within walking distance.
In the Aprath district, Wülfrath has a connection to the S-Bahn line S 9 on the Wuppertal-Vohwinkel-Essen-Überruhr railway line. The Wülfrath-Aprath stop is today the only remaining railway station in Wülfrath and can be reached once an hour by bus from the centre of Wülfrath. However, there is also an hourly express bus service from Wülfrath city centre to Wuppertal. At the end of 2017 the S-Bahn line 28 from Mettmann-Stadtwald to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof was extended. It will run from Mettmann-Stadtwald to Wuppertal-Vohwinkel via a new branch line of the Düsseldorf-Derendorf-Dortmund Süd railway line through Wülfrath-Düssel, where it will have the new stop Düssel-Hahnenfurth. Wülfrath is connected to the German motorway network via the A 535 (AS Wülfrath).
