Gibbes beach itself is an idealic beach with some of the largest homes nestled behind manicured gardens leading each property to the beach. One only has to walk 4 minutes to see a change in the atmosphere with the lively Mullins beach bar and restaurant, the watersports the beach loungers and the sunbrellas all on display.
One truly has the best of both worlds in this immediate location.
If not wanting to leave the home then this is the place to wind down a lazy day. The house is stunning. You walk in through ornate gates that feel just right, walk into the entrance and one feels the modern Caribbean charming oozing through the wonderful open plan living area with the stunning floors, the different ceiling heights and the flow of the home almost pushes one through the bi fold door opening to the covered terrace where there is ample room for dining and low seating. The owners spend their time here, as one should in this wonderful island, with a tv on a swivel bracket and low lighting this is the ideal indoor/outdoor living room. The touch of having a decent sized pool and deck off to the side of the eye line allows one to enjoy the garden ambience which steps down as it moves away from the home and allows people to both relax, dine or jump in the pool without inflicting their afternoons entertainment upon each other.
The garden abounds a 10,000sq ft plot of land also available by the same owners who feel that this is the perfect way to create a buffer to the "real world".
The interior of the house is so charming all bedrooms are ensuite there is a/c and fans where expected and there is a further guest w.c.
The kitchen is galley style and the pantry is well located. The kitchen can of course be accessed from the living room but there is even easier access when carting heavy bags of shopping in via a side door.
The house also sits fairly centrally on the plot allowing an even greater feeling of space and in no one corner has the need for manicured landscaping been lost.
