The village and area is quiet and picturesque with several houses occupied all year round. The nearest town of Bardi is approx. 10 mins by car and a base for Italians who have emigrated to the UK to return every year so English is also spoken but it really is old school Italy totally unspoilt and natural with mant Festas almost every week.

The village is located 700 metres above sea level, is in very panoramic and quiet area; the houses of the village are inhabited permanently, in part; the nearest place to make expenditure is the town of Bardi and is 7 km; the tollbooth A15 of Fornovo is 45 minutes, you can reach it via the A15 tollgate of Borgotaro as equidistant.
