Property Description ID:34984288
This charming chalet is located near the ski slopes and hiking trails of Monte Bondone, at 1.400mt of altitude, surrounded by over 4,000sqm of land. The dwelling was built in the early 80's, and then completely renovated in rustic style in the 90's, following traditional design, combining wood and stone. The chalet is on three: the pedestrian entrance is located on the intermediate floor, which corresponds to the ground floor given the mild terrain slope. The interior spaces, although not too generous in size, have been carefully studied and furnished in an ergonomic way, with handmade wooden boiserie by Austrian craftsmen. The masterpiece being the beautiful wooden stube with access to the outside terrace, completed by a typical brick and ceramic stove, as well as two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a bathroom. This level leads to the attic area, ideal as an accessory space with its own bathroom. On the underground level we find a tavern area with kitchenette and access to useful external storage. The land, completely fenced, is wonderful in all seasons: from summer green to the beautiful setting of autumn colors, to the magic and silence of the white winter days: a gazebo with wooden table and benches, completes the exterior, to enjoy "al fresco" moments away from the noise and heat of summer days, just a few minutes' drive from the city center. The location also offers an enchanting view of the Adamello Brenta group and the valley below.Mount Bondone (Bondberg in German) is a 2.180mt mountain in western Trentino, belonging to the Gardesan Pre-Alps, located immediately west of Trento, and its summit can be reached in about 20min by car from the city center. On its ski slopes, active well before the Second World War, the first ski lift in Europe was built in 1934.Mount Bondone is a destination for hikers, skiers (Nordic and downhill), mountain bikers and tourists alike, who can find different routes depending on their ability and experience. For road cyclists, this mountain has a profound meaning, having been the stage for the heroic ascent of Charlie Gaul in the Italian "Giro" in 1956, to whom a yearly Gran Fondo race is dedicated.
