Set in its own natural cirque of vineyards and woods, the estate buildings dominate over the valley. The main house offers 280 m2 of living space with 6 bedrooms and a wood-fuelled heating system. The structural work of the building has been reinforced and restored, however several rooms still require renovation. The buildings also include two 90 m2 staff houses.
The winery was built in the last ten years and, with its gravity-aided harvest reception area, it provides a high quality work tool. It is spacious and has been designed to facilitate vinification work.
The 400 hl range of thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks are also equipped with mechanised pigeage. The winery equipment is top grade (20 hl pneumatic press, peristaltic pump, crusher/destemmer…).
The property spreads over 70 contiguous hectares of rolling wooded landscape. Classed AOP Limoux, the 7.5 ha vineyard is excellently situated on south-facing high quality slopes. The entire vineyard has been planted with noble varieties with top grade trellising and high density planting (6000 vines/ha).
The red grape varieties consist of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, whilst the whites are planted with Chardonnay and Viognier.
The remaining land comprises 15 ha of meadows, a lake, an olive grove, truffle oaks and around 45 ha of woods.
The Domain produces approximately 200 hl of bulk wine, or an equivalent of 26 000 bottles per year. The wine is currently sold through a well-known wholesaler. A network for bottle sales remains to be created in its entirety.
