The district lies south of the Lesum between Blockland and Werderland. It also has typical village structures and is often referred to as the "village in the city". The church in Grambk was built in 1722 in baroque style and in 1864 was fitted with a neo-Gothic tower. In the district stands the large school centre Alwin-Lonke-Straße. In Burg-Grambke there are the Grambker See, the Grambker Feldmarksee, the Sportparksee Grambke and the Burger See, which is divided by the railway line Bremen-Bremerhaven. The Feldmarksee is surrounded by birches, ash trees and a natural reed belt. The Sportparksee Grambke, excavated in 2002, is considerably larger and measures about 1.2 km in length. Due to its good water quality, it is suitable for swimming and has been equipped with appropriate facilities, such as a DLRG station. In contrast to the Feldmarksee it is much calmer and more secluded.
Burg-Grambke borders on the Bremen Industrial Park, in which the Arcelor Bremen (formerly Klöckner-Hütte or Stahlwerke Bremen) is located. The A 27 (junction Bremen-Nord) and the A 270 (junctions Bremen-Ihletal, Bremen-Lesum and Bremen-St. Magnus) lead through the district. Kindergartens, schools, sports clubs, shopping facilities and doctors are available in the immediate vicinity. Due to the narrowness of the road directly at the Grambker See, only very few vehicles drive slowly through there. A great residential area with a very quiet neighbourhood.
