Huchting is a district of Bremen and belongs to the Bremen district Süd. Huchting is located on the western, left side of the Weser. The district is about 6 km away from the centre of Bremen. Neighbouring district is Neustadt. The town borders Stuhr in the south and Delmenhorst in the west. Today the district consists of the four districts Kirchhuchting, Mittelshuchting, Sodenmatt and Grolland. Since about 1975 a centre has been developing in Kirchhuchting. The primary school is only about 5 minutes away from the apartment; the grammar school can be reached in 10 minutes. In Huchting there are approx. 22 kindergartens, day-care centres for children and groups of children as well as a youth leisure centre. In the REWE and Lidl shopping centres, you can organise your daily requirements on foot in 5 and 10 minutes respectively. The nearest hospital is within 10 minutes.
