Our seasons run thus: The first week of March is when the grass really greens out, the sun intensifies, and all the fruit trees bloom heavily. The last week of March/first week of April, all the hardwood trees (dogwood, tulip poplars, redbud etc.) bloom wildly, and the trees begin greening out. Weather is cool to warm, but not hot, through mid-June. Planting the garden comes the first week of June. The woods are green from early April through mid-October, when the hot sun brings harvest and golden leaves for three weeks. Autumn is warm but not hot, and about a third of the days in December are still t-shirt days. January is cold and starry, February sees mild, warmer weather and the frogs wake up with a vengeance till the end of June. Also, the weather cycle throughout the year since our arrival runs that about two weeks are clear blue skies, followed by three days of good precipitation. The windiest months are November and March. I love the serenity of this property. I cannot hear anything but the sky above, and the earth below. Such a peaceful setting for this comfortable, well-maintained home with all the right amenities. This home and property are one-of-a-kind & totally unique for convenience, beauty, and comfort. There is tons of storage inside and outside the house. Privacy! Whether a deer watcher or deer hunter, you will get your fill here.
