The descents of the riders alternate with acrovades of skilled jockeys. The donkey palio is part of the event, a show that mainly involves children. The Savitesi events are accompanied by the melodious sound of the launeddas, a polycalamo instrument whose origins are lost in time. The Academy of master Luigi Lai today hands down the use of an ancestral Sarrabese tradition.
