The chateau is now a testament to his tenacity and - above all - his determination to ” restore ” - the stonework above wall embrasures would now be instantly recognised by a 14th Century owner… the flagstone floors and the dressed stone walls bear witness to the centuries when the chateau was loved and used. What Jennifer and I most admire is the seamless addition of all the conveniences of modern living to a building that must be revelling in the good taste that has enabled it to live again… giving a vast 1,200 m2 of living space to be used as the next owner/ guardian chooses.
